On the occasion of the World Refugee Day 2024, Crisis Response and Policy Centre (CRPC) organised the OUT4IN Webinar. More than 40 guests was introduced to a new toolkit for professionals working in the areas of protection, inclusion, and integration of forcibly displaced persons, then education, including education of refugee and migrant women and outdoor education, seeking to enhance their skills in outdoor activities for refugee and migrant women and girls, but also to those interested in developing and managing educational and recreational programs for said population.

Five webinar presenters contributed to a versatile conversations and engaging topics:

  • Maja Dragojević (Crisis Response and Policy Centre), introduced Out4In Toolkit and the project./li>
  • Edlira Baka Peco (UNHCR) shared challenges that forcibly displaced women and girls face.
  • Dr Dragana Đorđević (Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade) presented opportunities of working with culturally diverse groups in (higher) education.
  • Vladimir Sjekloća (Crisis Response and Policy Centre) discussed cultural competences in refugee protection.
  • Bojan Gerzina (PE teacher, member of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia) presented benefits of outdoor activities and education.
