On August 19th, Monaliiku hosted the Out4In webinar, focusing on the importance of outdoor activities for migrant and refugee women.

The event introduced the Out4In toolkit, a digital resource designed to equip outdoor educators with the skills to engage and support migrant women through outdoor activities.

The webinar featured Miika Honkanen from Suomen Laatu. Miika shared insightful expert strategies for fostering well-being and collaboration through immersive outdoor experiences.

Ayisat Yusuf, a member of the Monaliiku team, also discussed strategies for establishing safe spaces and tackling the difficulties associated with women’s multicultural integration in sports. She also talked about her experiences as a trainee in Zaragoza, where she got to try out some of the toolkit’s activities.

Attendees gained useful information, useful tools, and the chance to improve their capacity to design inclusive, effective outdoor activities from this session.
